Bruce Wayne and Arya Stark:

Both of their parents are murdered.
Both want revenge for their family.
Both flee their continent.
Both try to leave their identity behind.
Both meet a charismatic leader of a cult.
Both have to bring an item to get in the door of the cult.
Both get training to help them be vigilantes.
Both get beaten with wooden staffs as part of training.
Both can't get revenge on their father's killer because the murderer has already been killed.
Both fail their final test.
Both realize cult is a cult and decide to leave.
Both use costumes to hide their identity...suit/faces.
Both ultimately can't leave their true identity behind.

At this rate, Arya is going to kill the Waif, destroy the House of Black and White while saving Jaquen's life, head back home, and at some point have to kill Jaquen who travels to Westros to kill her.

I really don't want to dignify this with a response but do you know when the books were released? The first was 10 years before BB.

Arya doesn't hate the faceless men,she just doesnt want to be no-one. He stole from many other fantasy authors and historical events.

While I haven't read the books, I'm fairly certain she didn't head to the house of Black in White in book one did she?

But it was a bit of a troll subject line, though it's remarkable just how indentical her journey with the faceless men parallels BB.

You're seeing similarities because both plots are cliche.

She headed to Braavos at the end of the third book which came out in 2000. The majority of stuff that she did at the house of black and white happened in the 4th book which came out in 2005. The same year BB came out but all of it was written years before.

Edit: actually the majority of the stuff happened in ADWD

Yes, Martin ripped off the genius of David Goyer.

I remember when people were saying he based it all on the War of the Roses. A lot of people who had never even heard of the War of the Roses were suddenly talking like it was all so obvious. That theory didn't hold up well and neither does this.

That's not a Theory, he himself has confirmed that he based a lot of his story on the war of roses. His entire story is a mosaic of different historical pieces into one world

Stark/York and Lannister/Lancaster are similar words and the plot involves a fight for a throne. Beyond that, there isn't a whole lot similar.
