He's done. I'm betting his meeting with editors in August was to turn it in. If we make it through this month without an announcement, I'm saying Feb. release. If announced this month, December. There was about a two month window btw Dance announcement and release if my memory serves. 3 tops.

I'm divided on the Daario/Euron theory. I don't think it's going to happen, but I think it would redeem Daario's character instantly.
As for Celgane Bowl, I think it will happen, but not quite yet. I think it would be epic if Robert Strong joined with the Others, and in the final battle, the Hound comes out with a flaming sword and uses it to kill Ser Gregor once and for all. It would be one hell of a karmic death on top of the one Oberyn gave him.

Yeah, Daario kind of sucks. If he's Euron, he's amazing.

I am guessing that it will be out next Summer. They won't screw over HBO by releasing it before the next season is complete.

You could say they won't screw over Martin by releasing the next season before the next book. This is the last book that'll be released before the end of the series.

The series won't do anything to stop people buying the next book. I can guarantee that. I am only so-so on the series. I just like the storytelling of the books better. However, since HBO and everyone involved keeps telling people how original this upcoming season is going to be, the surprise factor will be important to them, and even if they do things differently than the book, once the next part of the story is told, some of that surprise factor will be lost.

If Clegane Bowl happens for Cersei's trial, I think it would be a bit cheap and not wholly satisfying. Yeah, it's awesome that Sandor definitively kills his brother, but it would give Cersei an anticlimatic death, not to mention the fact that she likely wouldn't live to see her children's deaths.
Catelyn died with the single most heartbreaking thoughts I've ever read, with her last thoughts being her husband loving her hair. Despite me despising her character, I felt very bad for her to going to that point of tragedy and felt numb simply out of her feelings alone. I want Cersei to reach this point, and if the Hound just simply kills her champion, she'll go to her death defiant. The only thing she'll really care about is that Jaime isn't there to go down with her. She can't go down this way. She needs to lose everything she holds dear. First her children, and then Jaime as he murders her. Cersei's death can only be satisfying if Jaime himself does the deed.
I want Sandor to kill Gregor definitively, but there are other instances that this could happen and in much more symbolically satisfying ways for all parties involved.

Well, that means she flees, and I want her to stick around King's Landing and try to burn the place to the ground Aerys style.
Plus who is going to rescue her? Qyburn? That's the only one popping into my mind. Jaime at least had every reason to spare Tyrion, and Varys needed Tyrion to get Dany's dragons. No one needs Cersei, and Jaime wants her to suffer. Jaime was her only hope, but now she's screwed.
