it's true. It's the way Batman is written. He is the greatest strategist in the DC universe.

Here is an example, off the top of my head.

Batman could create create a blue kryptonite powder and feed it to supes over time, until his powers are gone.

Yep.

A Batman vs Superman debate is just silly and pointless.

It's almost as bad as attempting to argue the fact that Hulk would beat the shite and snot out of Superman where I can at least entertain opposing viewpoints with a straight face.

Barely..

Only if the reason the Hulk has a green body is because he is radiating kryptonite... Otherwise it's pretty much the stereotypical unstoppable force against an immovable object.

Not really.

superman doesn't kill. He wouldn't laser batman thus they are at a bit of a stalemate unless superman is willing to kill which would be out if character.

In theory there is no limit to hulks strength so in theory he could become so enraged he could rip superman in half.

In theory, I suppose you're right. He did defeat Onslaught after all, even if it did take Jean Grey incapacitating Bruce's consciousness.

I know the writers at DC have decided that Superman has a genius IQ, which he uses to formulate plans like "I'm going to punch that thing in the face" or "I am going to fly, run real fast, and then punch that thing in the face."

Superman is traditionally written as a genius (like since the Golden Age). He has actually been depowered and dumbed down by the writers in order to elevate other heroes.

I think the better question is who is smarter.

Max Landis makes several good (and hilarious) points regarding that in this video:

I enjoy his commentary, but just because a guy has a camera doesn't make him the absolute authority on comics. IMO, his superman pov is very skewed.

Tell that to Zod in MoS or Captain Marvel and the Joker in Injustice: Gods Among Us. He straight up executed Zod, Faora and some other kryptonian from a different universe b/c he feared they would cross into his own. He also tried to kill Doomsday.
