I'm also not too impressed with their On Demand offerings.

Not that I know of but I've been told they are working on getting it. I know some people there. I'll ask around in the morning.

You can't stream anything with Eatel which really sucks. I have to bum from people with Cox. This is the only thing making me consider switching back to cox.

Random bump but, without going into too much detail, don't hold your breath on hbogo for eatel. From my insider's info, doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon.

Nope, it's eatel's big flaw. No espn3 either

Why are they holding out? Gonna have to go with Cox, now.

Eatel's not the holdout, HBOGo and ESPN3 are the holdouts. Because Eatel's a small local company, those large entities don't license them to be able to access that stuff.

Winner winner, chicken dinner.

It's all on network's end, Eatel isn't just going to take whatever deal they come to the table with. They are going to want a deal that benefits both parties and as it stands, the networks only play that way with the large companies.

I currently have Eatel under a two year contract that will expire next month. I have been happy with them for the most part but not having HBOGo is a big draw back, not to mention the two year savings I have been getting will drop off this month. Should I call and get a quote with Cox? What do y'all recommend?

I assume this is semantics, but you're referring to the WatchEPSN app that you have to have a login for, correct? Because I can access the free ESPN3 content just fine but I have to bum my in-laws UVERSE login for the WatchESPN stuff.

I got a quote from Cox then called Eatel and they lowered my bill $50 a month. I really like Eatel much better overall but especially from a customer service standpoint.

As for the online streaming stuff, it's not that important to me but would be cool to have.

Very random bump (seems like a going trend for me in this thread).

Was watching MNF and an Eatel commercial came on for their new offering, TV Everywhere, that gives access to watch espn, hbo go, and a bunch of other streaming services with more to be added.
