I still maintain that the "Martha" scene was one of the dumbest things I've seen on screen since M. Night took a shite on 15-year old me at the premier of The Village.

Hell no. Who reads comics?

It is not a smart move to make a movie in an attempt to appeal to a wide movie-going audience based upon assuming the audience is well versed in comic lore.

Well...Lex Luthor says the name of the monster as it awakens.

"Ancient Kryptonian deformity. Blood of my blood. Born to destroy you. Your Doomsday."

I think it's going to come out in Justice League that Lex was getting council from Steppenwolf. I think he taught him how to create Doomsday. It just seems like that's the case especially after we saw that new scene. He's talking to Steppenwolf in the same place Doomsday was created.

Who knows, though. I could be wrong.

Just watched this last night.

Man, it was kind of a mess. The beef Batman had with Superman was really weak.

Didn't love Lex's character. I think he could have been a more savvy character and would have come across as more evil than crazy. The "ding ding" scene with him behind bars just made him seem like a bad version of the Joker.

I enjoyed the fight scenes with Batman. He really kicks arse.

Yeah, I caught that. But that does not explain how it was ceated. It needed more dialogue.

Uh...yeah...it does.

There's a whole scene where Lex puts Zod's body into the goo and cuts his hand open to seep blood down onto Zod's face. The ship's tentacles then attach themselves to Zod's body.

It's strongly implied that Doomsday was an abomination deformity created from Zod's body and Lex Luthor's DNA.
