It's like Walt has become a culmination of everyone he has had dealings with the past. He picks up character trails from each with the result being the evolving Heisenberg persona. Meh...maybe its just late and I'm imagining things.

I thought the same thing about Walt, especially after Gus and Mike's deaths.

Now, there is a lot of speculation about the fast-forward scene. Many people believe they see Walt wearing a wire. This was even before the last episode.

It's on his jacket by the zipper. Not sure I see it, but that's what a lot of people have speculated - and that is looking like it might be true. It's when he goes for his ID. Vince likes to do stuff like that, too. There's a long pause.

I, on my own, have also thought it could be, if indeed it is some sort of wire, an explosive Walt has made. The shocker, the "Mr. White, science, yeah" ending of all endings. But that's just one of my theories.

Finally, the last 3 pages on this thread have been outstanding for the most part.

This is just the kind of stuff Heisenberg likes to drop on people to manipulate and control them.

Could be wrong on this one but I think that Walt has no idea that they were paying for Hank's medical bills.

I don't buy it. I think Hank's incorruptible.

Walt teaches Hank his cook and Hank becomes the heir to Walt's empire.

I don't really buy it either. They've developed Walt's character to the point of no return IMO.

Walt picked that name for the scientific connection, not his wife's maiden name.

Are you talking about Heisenberg or Lambert? If its Lambert I have not seen evidence of either explanation. Whether that is the scientist, or Skyler's maiden name other than from a wiki. Whatever happens it should be awesome.

To think that Hank would not be out of a job or charged since his brother in law is a meth kingpin who paid for his PT (Walt does know this, by the way) is silly. His former boss got fired for being friends with Gus, even though Gus was friends with the entire agency. All Gus did for him was teach him to cook fish in a little foil pouch.

In additon to that, Skylar will be going to jail if that happens for her role, Jesse too, and I don't see anything but a happy ending for Jesse(or death).

I think Walt will work with Hank to frame Jesse as Heisenberg. We know Hank almost lost his career for his obsession with Jesse, it would be the ultimate vindication for Hank. Hank would appear to be right about Fring and Jesse, while it was really Walt who served up both of them.

Hank Schrader, your new DEA director! Schraderbrau for everyone!!!

With hank and Marie not able to have kids, I believe they will adopt Walt and skylars once they are dead or in prison. Skylar broke bad also....things will not end well for her also.

His former boss actively campaigned against going after Fringe. Pretty sharp distinction there.

How would it be Hanks fault when he has zero idea how his BOL earned the money to pay for his medical bills?

Possible, but it'd be tough to pin a multi hundred million dollar operation on a high school drop out that I'm sure has multiple simple felonies. And how does Walt explain how Jessie was able to cook 99% pure meth?

If they believe he is just the cook and Walt convinces Hank that is all he is. He could blame everything else on the new distribution partners from Phoenix and get immunity and witness protection. Hence the New Hampshire plates, growing out the hair and a beard, and showing a New Hampshire license to the waitress at Denny's with the last name of Lambert.

If Walt's cancer is back and he refuses treatment, then why would he go to the witness protection program? Does not make sense. He'd go out guns blazing after setting his kids up financially. No reason for him to change his identity in the flash-forward scene unless he's planning on living a while.

How would he be playing dumb? He had no idea where the money was coming from and he had no legitimate reason to assume that it was drug money.

I was just thinking about how many different scenarios are going to be debated. We should have some sort of contest to see who can guess the right ending (or close enough to it)

First thing they teach you in investigator school is the income/expense analysis. Hank would be laughed out of the DEA and straight to prison if he admitted to buying that phony gambling story.
