Breaking bad is best for me because it was always moving to an ending. Most finales leave you open ended. Finally someone figures out how to end a drama series.

I don't need a sense of finality. I'd love a show to end with a character going on the run and you never find out what happens to them or something similar

I guess that's why you liked the Sopranos and i liked BB. But couldn't Jesse's end in BB satisfy you that way?

I wasn't defending sopranos earlier, I agreed with you. I was just saying that BB did it too, though to a lesser degree. And yes, I liked jesse's ending

BB was the best I've seen, but I haven't seen the wire. Sopranos had some terrible seasons in the middle

Sure, it was almost too perfect/satisfying.
But after seeing a lot of crappy endings to shows I was fine with it.
And yes, BB was my favorite TV show of all time, not even close. It really was extraordinary television.
