Season 3 *** Spoilers ***
We finished Season 3 this afternoon. Im disappointed. It was good with some nice twists and turns but they really left me hanging with this. I did not see that coming.
I really enjoyed the series as a whole but in the end, they had to close things down too fast and it was not enough time to really finish it up. Just too many loose ends out there.
I will be interested in others take on it.

I didn't like it, didn't like that episode 9 was nothing but hallucinations and that was the reason I skipped watching it all. Didn't like that so little repercussions for most of the family.
You mentioned loose ends, they wasted so much time in all the previous episodes with needless junk they could have had 4 hours for substance if they cut that shite out

yea, there is no way John deserved to come out of this alive and not in jail

I'm about 4 episodes into season 3, and @ this point the only character I actually like and am rooting for is the Coroner

I'm on episode 9.... What the frick.... It's about as easy to follow as that time Tony Soprano was Kevin Finnerty.

Anyone else pulling for Ozzy and O'Bannon?

I am going to try and ease in and out of here with out reading spoilers but I have a burning question concerning episode two. Would't they be able to establish that the cop had been dead longer than a few minutes due to the temperature of the body? That would disprove Kevin's entire story.

Not when the guy helping him is the one that would prove that

Disappointed to say the least. Episode 9 was wasted. Love the actors and locations, but hate the writers who mailed it in.
Obligatory "Kevin is a frick up".

Sure seems that way. I hate a great series with a great story had to end so badly.
So much potential in that show and storyline

Agree. I blame David Zayas.

Also bugged me that the defense for Eric just threw in the towel after Sally's testimony. Any attorney worth a damn would have checked her story. How hard would it have been to determine her father never went to jail and prove she was lying on the stand?

Netflix had a countdown on the main screen all week.

Disappointing ending. My biggest issues below:
*******Major Spoilers Ahead*******
Lazy and/or stupid writing:
Sheriff Aguirre was suspicious of John the entire time, and then when John confesses, he just brushes it off and blames stress. wtf
No way Eric ends up on the road crew after a murder conviction.
The whole John covered in blood at birth was stupid. Aren’t all babies? As for Kevin, when is a baby considered weak due to being delivered by C-section?
The way Ozzy went out was just terrible.
The entire giving up at trial thing was beyond ridiculous.
Plot lines that went nowhere:
Sally’s illness
Sally’s affair with Roy
The introduction of Diana
Ozzy’s revenge on John
In the end, nobody got any semblance of what they actually deserved. John and Meg are basically home-free. Kevin is going to jail, but probably just for the drug charges, not for murder. Eric is still sitting in jail for a crime he did not commit. Chelsea, the only character in the entire show with any moral fiber, is now serving drinks at a biker bar.
I almost wish I had followed Ozzy’s lead and ate a bullet in episode 8 so as not to have to endure episodes 9 & 10. Episode 9 in particular was a complete waste.

Agree with everything said above. They knew this would be the last season. You've got a golden opportunity to close it out with a good final season, and go down as a must see show for Netflix subscribers.... And they just completely shite the fricking bed.
