Just finished and I can say it was a mess with a sloppy silly ending. Just glad it's over and I can look for something else.

**Spoiler**

WTF was the deal with not taking the confession and burning the family down. Just a silly scene.

So much stupid stuff left hanging.

Episode 9 was the biggest WTF moment I've seen in a show in a long time. This season had so much promise through the first 8 episodes then they dropped the ball before crossing into the end zone. Kevin is Roy's son? Sally blames John all of a sudden? I wish I had pulled a Meg and bailed halfway through.

The first two seasons were great. I couldn't keep my eyes off of them. the third season I couldn't keep my eyes on it.
The episode nine especially. I had to rewind certain parts of different episodes because I wasn't paying attention

Also got the feeling Kevin was Roy's kid and can't believe they left that ambiguous.

shite I thought that they were implying that Rocky was Roy's kid.

I guess I'm the only guy who liked episode 9. Sure it was a little too Tony Soprano in the coma-like, but it had a lot of Danny and got into John's suicidal mind. And I like any reference to the Bends.

"Who are my real friends? Have they all got the bends? Where are you now, when I need you?"

Nice theme for the episode

Wow, what a mess! So what was the point of Ozzy and the confessional stuff at the church? I kept waiting for that to be explained.

People need to take lessons from Breaking Bad. The episodes leading up to the finale can and need to be even better than the actual finale. Episode 9 was a complete waste!

Everything about how much this season (more so the last 2 episodes) suck has been discussed. Except...regardless of leaving the GPS on, why didn't Kevin go to Cuba instead of the Bahamas? I actually liked that twist and thought it was pretty brilliant.

Otherwise not only did episode 9 suck, but I watched 10 right after and kept getting confused on what was and wasn't real. Like I was trying to remember if Mike was or wasnt real when his name gets brought up in episode 10.

I don't think the writers mailed it in. I think they tanked the ending on purpose, really most of the season as a big for canceling series. I don't think poor writing could account for adding 15+ storylines that have no relevance. Ozzy in particular.

kevin was roys kid? guess i missed that. and they are all so calm about roy stabbing a dude on a boat. dont worry, her gps was on the whole time. ozzy? mental breakdown that only last 30 minutes with hallucinations.

i really thought they were gonna end it with john wakingup in a hospital after a drug overdose and we see that all the roles are reversed and hes the frick up and he dreamed the whole thing.

Im thinking the writers were pissed and the ending is just jumbled bullshite protests

I mean...just what. I'm pissed at the way Meg and Ozzys storylines ended. And Chealseas

frick those last two episodes how in the world did that get approved and shot and edited and to air. How

Totally agree with the sloppiness. And here's my take away of the show. All the troubles and trevails of the Rayburn clan had to do with preserving the "family". But sa Sally said in episode 10, to her it wasn't the people in the family it was the inn, that's what she and ultimately they all saw as the family Rayburn.

All the trouble started when it was discovered that Danny was storing smuggled drugs at the inn. Instead of protecting the family Rayburn, and calling the DEA, John protects the "family" the inn by getting rid of the drugs and setting up Danny to be killed.

It all came to an appropriate end as Sally lost her family, the inn is sinking and worthless. John lost his family, Kevin got busted, and Meg got away. She had the least to do with the mess and got the best rap.

Appears Linda Cardellini read the last few scripts and suggested they move her character across country and change her name rather than participate.

The one satisfying moment in season three was Kevin meeting his fate. He had to be the biggest whining bitch on TV.

Chelsea O'Bannon was the single character on the show who actually had me wanting to see good things happen to her.
