just started and watched ep 1 yesterday. what are yalls' opinions? TIA

Season 1 is a little slow setting the ground work, but keep going it gets great.

First half of season one blows but then you are rewarded with a fantastic show if you can power through those first few episodes.

I'm glad they took the time to thoroughly build the world of the pirates...just jumping in headfirst would've been a mistake. I think it can easily contend for best show on TV right now in season 3....

In my Top 10 currently running shows. Like mentioned, starts slow but worth it to power through. Jessica Parker Kennedy nude is worth it alone. She does it for me with that accent...

after reading this board go crazy about it recently i gave it another shot. its been 10 days and im on episode 2 of season 3. so glad i decided to give it another shot. its some of the best TV you can watch.
IMO its kind of like a pirates of the carribean meets game of thrones.
stick with it. like others said, if you like by episode 5, you will LOVE it later on

I use IceFilms for Black Sails and GoT and movies.
There are several movies with "submitted for consideration of "insert award show here" to "insert name of star here": like Ellen Degeneres". So if occasional statements floating for 10 secs ruins it for ya, don't use it for movies.
