Brazil had a good one and that is often forgotten.

The studio forced Terry Gilliam into a happy ending for The Fisher King after that one.

You know that whole movie is worth watching just for the ending. It's like ho-hum here's a monster, there's a monster, everywhere's a monster-monster....then boom. That was really fricked up. I liked it. I really wish that ending had been on a better movie though.

One of the best endings ever in a horror film.

From the trailers I had no idea the movie was about alien abductions. Just a supremely awesome twist at the end.
