No order:
Kill Bill
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Bourne Ultimatum
The Raid
Lethal Weapon
This past year I thought John Wick and Kingsman were great.

T2 is still one of my favorites, but Arnold plays a robot fighting another robot. The effects were great, the plot is great, but the pure raw action is still not as good as Predator.

I'm partial to the Missing in Action movies 1 and 2. They're definitely B grade, but a lot of fun.
I liked Die Hard 2 better because airport is more interesting than an office building.
But then again I always wondered why they had the fuel to circle for 2 hours but not enough fuel to divert to Baltimore.

The Long Kiss Goodnight has to be up there.

Here's a few that came to my mind:
My choice is T2 - still holds up as incredible
Also worth considering:
The French Connection - Gene Hackman
The Bourne Identity - holy crap Damon nailed it
The Matrix - ripped off so badly as to have lost a lot but this might make it the most influential movie in recent history
Die Hard - holy crap smarmy Bruce Willis transforms into an action star
Lethal Weapon 2
Predator - this or T2 are probably the best pure Arnold movies he ever made
Beverly Hills Cop - arguably as much comedy as action
Jurassic Park
Alien
Speed
The Rock
The Professional
The Fugitive
Braveheart
Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs - arguably not action movies
Inception - part action
Heat
Jaws
The Right Stuff - partly action, would have been higher with tighter editing
Unforgiven/In the Line of Fire/Gran Torino - arguably the best of Clint is part action part drama

Die Hard and T2 are the safe choices.
Can't believe someone suggested Starship Troopers... Yeah the action was good but the movie was terrible.
I think Jaws tops all of them though. At the time of its release it was the highest grossing film of all time beating out the Godfather only to get dethroned by Star Wars.
Jaws is most certainly an action/thriller movie. They went more than twice over budget with low level stars at the time.
Jurassic Park also belongs in the conversation as well.

frick You.
Starship Troopers is easily and consistently one of my top 10 across genres all time favorite movies.

I saw Starship Troopers in theaters when I was 16 or 17. Perhaps it was too cerebral of a film for my underdeveloped brain to fully appreciate. I may give it another go in the near future....nah.
