Terminator 2 would have to be my vote for best action movie of all time.

ST is fricking awesome. And I saw it when I was like 18 in college. Me and my buddy skipped class and went to the movies and picked that one. And we liked it so much we skipped class the next day and went saw it again.
It's just a fun as shite movie. And it's packed with over the top action scenes. Also, it's a pretty great dark comedy in a lot of ways, as well as borderline genius in terms of satire.

My vote has to go to either Commando or Predator.
My dark horse goes to Desperado. Some pretty awesome Mexican gun fights. A little Selma Hayek lagniappe doesn't hurt either.

If cop movies are considered "action" then Dirty Harry jumps to the top of the list. Top 5 of my all-time favorite movies.

While Die Hard and a few Arnold movies already listed are at the top of my list....watching The Rundown right now reminded me of how much I liked this flick. Funny as hell and lots of good action sequences with The Rock.

I'm pretty sure Die Hard is the standard. My personal favorite is probably Aliens.
