Affleck will wind up being the best portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman ever.
Book it.

Sorry George Clooney

I like Supes. But I think batman ultimately helps him become not only the most powerful, but most noble hero on the planet, by whooping his arse

but have never been much of a fan of the character of Superman.

Superman is a pretty boring character, really.

It's only one image, but if you don't like how Batman looks in the trailer, then you don't like Batman.

Yeah. The Batman this trailer shows is better than any live-action Batman we've seen.

It does look kinda small for a human operator.

It wouldn't be Superman if he relished in the god worship. That isn't Superman.

well neither was just standing there while his father died in a tornado or making zero attempt to fight Zod outside of the city

This movie will do better than people believe....

After it comes out I predict 10 threads from those that love it and 15 threads from those that hated in a matter of 3 days

People were laughing at the March opening date. It's going to make a shitload of money.

Seriously, how do people not understand the plot here? This is how the world would react to an all powerful alien, not stand and applaud as the helicopter falls off the roof of the Daily Planet. The dude's buddies just wrecked half the city. Some will be scared, others will worship him as a god.

Surely Batman would want to take a look into an all powerful being that just wrecked half of Metropolis.

Well this kind of points to one of my main issues with MOS. It was too much too soon for the first film in a series. I think the dramatic impact of the world potentially turning on Supes is greatly diminished since we really didn't have a much of him going around doing good before something happened that would cause people to be all "Wait, wait, wait, this alien frick didn't even try to stop Zod from wrecking the city. He used it as his battle cage instead!"

Now of course it seems like that is the narrative they are going to go with, I just think the dramatic impact would be far greater had they made a fist film that gave only gave the people a reason to celebrate him. Maybe they thought that would be too similar to the progression of the Nolan Batman films but it probably would have made for a better story if they didn't rush to have him battle an epic enemy.

Lost in the Batman movies of the last 30 years is the fact that Bruce is actually a genius and probably the best detective on the planet
he realized Catwoman stole his finger prints using an untraceable method in TDKR

But that's not how people would react. I would be scared shitless. This guy could destroy the world in seconds. There is plenty of time for the citizens in the universe to see a positive impact that Superman can make. This is just the knee jerk reactions.

Well that's why I think it would have been better to leave no room for people to hate him after the first.

That way the angry backlash from a second film would be far greater.

As it is now it looks like the people either love or fear the frick out of him. A fall from grace where ardent supports suddenly hate you has more impact IMO.

I think no matter what, people would have feared him. The days of the sunshine and rainbows Superman are over.

We can go back and forth for days on whether or not the Zod fight could have been avoided or moved to a different location. I don't think it would be as easy as some people think it would. I just think when two super beings face off, shite's gonna get destroyed, IMO.

I can see people fearing him like a God and worshiping him..... how do they bring in Klark here though? Didn't a few people figure out Klark was Superman in the first?
