Some people are even saying that it's controlled by Lex. Who knows.

Looks fricking awesome.

Only hesitation I have with this movie is that Man of Steel set the tone for over-the-top, useless, and unnecessary fight scenes. I don't want to see Batman and Superman go fist-to-fist and destroy half of a city.

I'd like to see Batman use his detective skills to ensnare Superman. Hit Superman in his Clark persona. Figure out what makes Superman "tick," and dismantle his clock.

Neither are bad or the villain.

Big DC fan here, but I just wasnt blown away by the trailer. I will go see it regardless, but I was expecting more. Then again, I dont like the whole Superman V Batman concept.

My thoughts exactly. I so hope they portray his detective skills in the movie. I've been wanting to see that aspect of him on the big screen for a long time.

I can't believe there are some here that don't see the connection with an all powerful alien and the hysteria that would ensue if that really happened in the world. Bruce is just as human and everyone else, and I'm sure he would be pretty freaked out about it just like everyone else. I mean these aliens just destroyed most of Metropolis, not to mention all of the other damage that occurred across the planet. Throw in Luthor's manipulation, and it isn't that hard to see how Bruce would be extremely concerned about Superman.

And some are assuming that the Superman vs Batman battle is going to be some sort of ultimate showdown or something. I'm sure Luthor will manipulate the two of them into having a confrontation, but it won't last long until they figure out they are not the real threat. Then they will team up to take out Luthor and whatever threat he actually has lined up for them. And this will lead into the next Justice League movie. It's really not that crazy of a plot (for a comic book movie).

For those of you saying Superman is disapproving of the God worship, I say you may be wrong.

It appears this movie will answer definitely two things:(1) Pa Kent was right, the world really wasn't ready for Superman, and neither was he.

I'm taking note of more than several shots where Superman prefers to hover over someone, like he did the general in MoS, and half-way tell them off. Remember he told him, 'don't play games with me a General.' And didn't think twice about destroying his drone. And the clips I've seen so far seem to pick up on this continuing narrative.

I like Supes. But I think batman ultimately helps him become not only the most powerful, but most noble hero on the planet, by whooping his arse

Was that Jeremy Irons voice in the trailer? Is he in the movie?

He was also the voice of Scar in the Lion King.
