I wonder what parts of the story they expanded on to complete an hour+ long movie. The comic is relatively short in comparison to other comics translated to movies.

I watched it a few more times, and the rest of it ok, but it started off with this, and it looks terrible

It remonds me of the old animated series from the 90's. I liked that. The voices are even all the same.

That animation is awful. I'm also not a fan that this trailer needed to rely heavily on the imagery from the graphic novel.

Are you serious? The animation is great. The art is gritty and rough, which is an asset to this story. Sorry if it's not yu-gi-oh japanimation for you, but there's style to this
