America needs more men like Dick Winters and Bill Guarnere.

Character (US only) you have most distaste towards?

Herbert Sobel, Albert Blithe, or Norman Dike Jr

The Breaking Point probably has my favorite seen of all time - the taking of Foy

I would guess 1and2 back to back is hard to beat for anything.

Just turned it on to Speirs giving Blithe the "the only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already dead" speech.

And Ronald MF Spiers, and Carwood Lipton, and Lewis Nixon, and Bull Randleman, and Buck Compton, and so on and so forth.

Why would you dislike Albert Blithe?

Just watched the assault on Foy.

This whole series should be required viewing for all high school students.

The last episode when Winters says what each of the men did after the war gets me every time. An amazing group of men I wish I could have met.

I've had the great privilege of taking care of WWII vets at the VA. One was in the 101st and was in the D-day invasion. Definitely a different generation that will likely never occur again.
