Anyone have any good audiobook recommendations. Spending a lot of time in flood traffic so would like to download.

I've listened to GAme of thrones on tape already.

Thanks!

Monster Hunters International was a fun listen, and I'm currently on "Off to Be the Wizard."

All the Mitch Rapp books are great as well as the Jack Reacher book series.

The Martian.

Even if you've seen the movie, this is a fun audiobook.

The First Law Trilogy, Red Rising, and R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt DoUrden series all have good narrations.

This is true for the Dark Elf Trilogy, after that they can be hit or miss, one of them is even a computer generated voice and some of them are abridged. This is with the complete series package you can torrent.

First listen to all of the free Hardcore Histories. Then download all of the pay to play Hardcore Histories. Then go read whatever book you want.

I'll second this. The WWI series especially is excellent.

No Country for Old Men is probably my favorite Audiobook.

The entire Master and Commander series (20+ books).

American Prometheus, North Korea Undercover, 88 Days to Kandahar - were all cheap on Audible and I enjoyed them.

BBC - Desert Island Discs -- A celebrity is interviewed and plays their favorite records. A lot more interesting and entertaining than it sounds. On the air since 1942 -- it's the second oldest radio series in the world (after the Grand Ole Opry). 500+ episodes online -- I've listened to about 40-50, including Paul McCartney, Randy Newman, Mel Brooks, and even Field Marshall Montgomery (from 1969).

In Our Time -- BBC History roundtable discussion

BBC Podcasts

The long-locked but (old times there are) not forgotten Old Time Radio thread -- Sort of like very short audio books

Was going to recommend this. I loved reading the books, but listening to them gave me a whole new appreciation for them.

Mountain Man series (zombie related) my favorite so far
Mr Mercedes trilogy (Stephen King detective mystery series)
Adrian's undead diary series
Influx (science fiction of technology and physics-really good)

That's a good starting point with a little variety. For the casual listener, mr Mercedes trilogy was fantastic
