Even Michael Bay thinks this movie sucks. Consider the enormity of that.

In my opinion, by an order of magnitude, I think it is the best film he's directed (and will ever direct).

Consider the enormity of THAT.

The Rock disagrees.

BTW, I just went to his IMDB page and saw that "Transformers 5" is in the works. Won't that be bitchin'?

the rock is easily #1

pain and gain is amazing (seriously)

bad boys 2 is still one of the most fun experiences in a theater i've ever had. bad boys 1 is a solid action flick

his best work, regardless of medium, is still clearly the "who shot alexander hamilton" got milk commercial

Yeah - when a guy makes such shitty movies, it's easy to forget the diamond in the rough.

The height of silliness, but I did enjoy the first one.

I don't think Louisiana even had MTV back then. We had to get by on Night Tracks and Friday Night Videos.

The debut of Wham's video for Wake Me Up Before You Go Go remains one of the most iconic "holy shite, is this for real?" moments of my childhood.

It is the best movie for teaching directors how not to direct, editors how not to edit, actors how not to act, and writers how not to write

that, however, is fricking retarded

I did think the line "get off....the nuclear...warhead" was hilarious though. So, so, so funny

And the Billy Bob f-bomb blew my mind as a kid

The Rock
Armageddon
Con Air

All the same guilty popcorn flicks for me. Nothing wrong with them IMO

Cheesy cliche one liners and blowing shite up. Fine with me

Didn't read the whole thread but -

I'm willing to bet the people that enjoyed this film are between the ages of 24 and 32 right now.

Right in that age where you would have believed anything in the movies simply because it was on the big screen. It also involved big machines in space on an asteroid and America used a nuke to blow it up. What else would a boy want?

Was this the movie where NASA decided it would be easier to train oil drillers to be astronauts than to train astronauts to operate a drill?
