Trainwreck wasn't even that funny of a movie. It was way overrated because chicks were excited to see a "raunchy" comedy that was female centered. I was really disappointed once I finally watched it and have no real desire to see anything Schumer puts out at this point

People say she was funny, she was funny because she was dating Anthony Jeselnik and he was writing most of her material. Once that petered out she was reduced to regurgitating the same tired "I"m like super slutty for realz" material and then went political hoping that would draw more.

How dare you man, didn't you hear that's just "parallel thinking". It just seems to keep happening over and over with bits from other female comedians, Patrice, Attel, etc.

I actually think it's entirely possible for two comedians to separately write similar jokes, but imo I think you can tell when that's the case. Some of her material is wayyyy too close.

Her material doesn't do much for me, but apart from the Old Navy commercials she's in, she hasn't been too difficult to avoid...

I remember watching Trainwreck and thinking how is John Cena the funniest thing in the movie? She's had a surprisingly meteoric rise in a short amount of time based on little talent and looks. Someone mentioned Dane Cook who had a similar rise and fall. Seems Hollywood decides ok you are gonna be famous no matter what we have to do. When it fails it fails badly. She seems to be failing already. Her new movie trailer with Goldie Hawn looks terrible.

Dane Cook is a decent comedic actor. He also has some onscreen charisma going for him.
I prefer him in movies, rather than his standup.
