One of my favorite movies I've seen in a while. I thought sam Rockwell was incredible.

Yes. It was good. Recently added it to my Blu Ray collection.

Good flick.

Commie wannabes should check it out, along with Dr. Zhivago.

I don't think Rockwell is underrated.

He's finally getting the credit he deserves.

Great movie! I watched it twice in 2 days.

Good movie, I heard about it from this board but that's the only time I've heard it talked about. Carell is a very versatile actor.

definitely...I liked the style, kind of like Adventureland, where it really could have been made 25 or 30 years ago and look the same.

My son didn't understand the title of the movie. So I told him that growing up we had a car with a "hatch back", kind of like the station wagon in the movie but without the seat facing backwards...I said that we were about to leave to go somewhere, my mom would say for my sisters to sit in the back and me to get in the "way back", meaning the hatchback (with no seat or seat belt by the way)

Definitely reminded me of Adventureland as well. I'll stop and watch at least a few scenes every time I'm flipping through the channels and see either of these movies on

Good movie. I think the title could have been improved to better draw viewers. It sounds like a movie about a POW crossing the tundra to freedom or something.

Not knocking you Walt, but I feel like this thread comes up at least once a quarter.

Heh. It's maybe your point, but there is actually a movie about that very thing called The Way Back. I think they were political prisoners though escaping from a prison camp in Siberia.

It's a good (not great) coming of age movie. I don't know what your issue is.

It's a rip off of every other coming of age movie ever and there was nothing good about it. I give props to movies that are good but this was literally nothing but blah.
