You don't even follow your own made up rules. Half of those people are no longer relevant or versatile. The issue here is your rules are dumb. A List is determined by whether you can be a headline in a higher budget movie. Jamie fox doesn't fit that bill clearly, I don't know why you thought of him.
And you forgot Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford
Also I'd argue you don't lose A list status. If you're a real A list person, you should never lose that status

Burt Reynolds was an A lister in the 70s and could headline big budget movies. Is he an A lister now? Same goes for Travolta, Willis, Deniro, and a few others on that list.

Travolta took a few years off but has a ton of new stuff coming out. Deniro was in American Hustle and has a bunch of movies coming out. Willis was recently in the last Expendables, GI JOE 2 and a few other movies that made 100+ million. I am not saying they are still good actors but in the right movie all 3 can put butts in the seats and make 100+ million dollar movies....which IMO makes them A listers.

you dont lose A list status until you die or retire. Once you are there, you are there. Because you will always be respected & seen as an A lister by one generation.

Maybe Burt shouldn't have been considered an A lister then. No other ones have lost their status. Expendable is a great example

Where do you put Gene Hackman and Harrison Ford. Those 2 are bigger than Bruce Willis.

What was his last big hit? I can't even remember.

Deniro was in American Hustle

He had a two minute cameo. He was certainly not the star. I didn't know he was in the movie until I saw it because it wasn't advertised.

He was not in Expendables 3 and only had a small part in the first two. He mostly does straight to dvd movies now. He's about on Nic Cage's level as far as star power goes.

Chevy Chase
Danny Devito
Arnold
Stallone

Will always be A list, to me. I love them.
