They better hope Star Wars is good, if not, that whole reboot thing will be shelved. I think the Christmas crowd will help this movie rather than going head to head with other summer fare.
I want it to be good so it will knock fricking Avatar off the top spot, but JJ has let me down before.

Seriously, Cameron must put subliminal repeat viewing messages in the frames of his movies. Somebody knock this guy's dick in the dirt, please.

Maybe it's just me, but that movie looks like it's going to send an awful message. Need more info on the plot though.

Just looks like cartoon Herman's Head, but after the communist ant movies, I'm open to anyone's skepticism.

Im trying to imagine how in the world you could rationally think that there's any chance of this happening, and ive come up with nothing. You're a special flower if you think a reboot of the biggest movie series ever will be shelved after they already announced 6 new movies regardless of how bad the first one is.

Personally I don't see how Star Wars will not at least be acceptable to just about everyone. There will probably be some Star Wars super freaks that will complain about things not being "canon" or whatever, but just about everything says that this movie will be well constructed to appease the masses.

communist ant movies,

You talking about A Bugs Life?

Or as I like to call it, The Magnificent Seven Redux. Although it's more like the Three Amigos.

Not sure. Could be good.

This is getting as bad as F&F, Transformers - just meh. That one where they're looking for the kid? Laugh out loud silly premise.

hunger games

Meh.

Some potential there. We'll see.

I've wavered on this one. I'm going to give a shot.

I'm actually starting to think this may be okay.

Simply my expectations, on a scale of very low, low, unsure, high, and very high:

star wars - very low

spectre - high

jurassic world - low

hunger games - don't care

dawn of justice - 2016 movie but might replace Man of Steel on my top 5 pantheon of greatest movie ever made, so my expectations are off the charts high

the avengers: age of ultron - very high

mad max: fury road - low

Inside Out - very high

Terminator - high

Antman - high

On this note, Crimson Peak looks really good. Del Toro goes back to his horror roots. I'm pretty excited for this one.

As far as Poltergeist, remakes of iconic horror movies almost always fail, (The Omen, The Thing, Psycho, Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Carrie, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) so I don't expect much.
