star wars - I expect it to be solid. 1-3 were such a disappointment that I think expectations won't be as high so it will be easy to exceed.

spectre - Garbage. Skyfall was crap and some of you are too easily amused. Plot was almost as bad as QOS and that seemed impossible to match.

jurassic world - Trained Raptors? Not optimistic, but lowered expectations could help it be a hit.

hunger games - Yawn. Don't hate the movies but don't love them either.

dawn of justice - Didn't realize that was the title for BVS. I am excited for this one. I think MOS set it up perfectly with the over the top destruction.

the avengers: age of ultron - Could suck and I would still probably like the cast interaction. I think it will be good.

mad max: fury road - Wildcard bitches! Not sure what to think here. Not sure lightning can strike twice for the Road Warrior.
I agree with you on 100% of this.

Am I the only one looking forward to Pixar's Inside Out?

Guessing that training won't go over well considering they start eating people

Yeah, that's not what I meant at all. I think it will flop critically.

I guess 'flop' wasn't the right word.

I predict it will suck massively.

I have a lot of faith on Spectre based on how great Skyfall was.
I too have faith in Spectre, but Skyfall was not great. It was pretty average IMO. I trust Sam Mendes to do better with his second Bond than his first.

Also noticed that no one has mentioned Tomorrowland yet, which I really don't have a clue what the movie is about aside from it's genre. Brad Bird is directing it, who was the first choice to direct the Star Wars sequels, but he turned it down to do this. This movie better be awesome if he refused the single most high profile franchise of all time in order to make this film. That reason alone makes me interested in it. They dropped a new trailer yesterday for what it's worth: LINK

Tomorrowland
I posted a trailer for it awhile back and it didn't get much interest. I think it's going to be great. Brad Bird is amazing. I saw the new trailer and thought it looked cool.

I've been watching Miles from Tomorrowland on Disney with my daughter. I have absolutely no idea if that has anything to do with the movie, though.

I think it was a good movie...which I guess means that I believe it was above average. Its just I don't buy that its one of the Best Bonds of all time. The third act was a mess.

Getting a little tired of the "Bond has to overcome his inner demons" storylines.

I'm really just anticipating Star Wars. It's the only movie I'll make a point to go see in theaters. Anything else and it's just "hey movies sound fun, what's playing?"

They better hope Star Wars is good, if not, that whole reboot thing will be shelved. I think the Christmas crowd will help this movie rather than going head to head with other summer fare.

You really think they'll shelve Star Wars? Especially after the Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones?

Sith is at least passable. Aside from the Throne Room scenes, I'd honestly put it about on the same level as Return of the Jedi. Just the siblings, everything on Endor, they redo the Death Star again (which I think is just lazy), and the first 40 minutes being a waste of time. That's well over half the movie basically being bullshite, as incredible as the throne room scene was. Hell, they didn't kill Han solely because Lucas was afraid it would sell less action figures. Harrison was rightfully pissed he wasn't killed off, since he seems to have understood the character better than anyone else and what was best for him.

And I actually did thoroughly enjoy Palpatine in Sith, and thought the scene between him and Anakin at the opera was actually good. Sure there's tons of bullshite about RotS, but I think it's relatively minor compared to what the other two prequels did.

PM is my passable one. I like some of the new ideas they tried (the execution was a failure don't get me wrong)

Sith didn't have enough palpatine. I agree though. Ian mcdirmand shines

I still try and convince myself that the PM was good

Locations
Sets
Less of the boring senate and jedi council

I liked the Podrace idea. That was a solid scene in an otherwise terrible movie. Other than that, the film is rubbish and a complete waste of time. You can watch Attack of the Clones and miss really nothing.

Last thing I'll say because I don't want to derail

But the pod race scene is too long and has the stupid announcers

But anakin is doing things to keep it together. Kind of neat. I liked the concept of Naboo and palpatine orchestrating things (I wish it hadn't been 3 movies of that) it looks a lot more like Star Wars than the other 2. None of them have anything going on except, like you said, palpatine was cool even if he did do a lot of cringe worthy shite
