Just finished first episode and the continuum of the story is off to a good start. I will not put spoilers in and will be another great watch.

Looks like a complete Legends of the Fall ripoff.

And with every episode of Yellowstone I dislike John Dutton more. I’m guessing I will dislike Jacob Dutton too.

that'll be tough as they have to deal with making it up as they go along to drag out seasons. An American tradition.

These other ones seemingly benefit from being focused and fully fleshed out.

So I just finished ep 1. Did everyone in James Dutton's family from 1883 die except for 1 child? I'm assuming the 5 yr old, John? This is what I gathered from Isabel May's voiceover? So Harrison Ford plays Tim McGraw's brother?

Just making sure I've got the family tree figured out.

James and Margaret had another son, Spencer. The one in Africa in episode one.

Harrison Ford is Tim McGraws brother, yes.

Where did the others come from, did I miss something? However, it was a great first episode.

As a SciFi fan, I'm holding out for Yellowstone 2099, when the Dutton family employs shady tactics, political connections, and good old fashioned violence to consolidate land rights on Mars.

Wait, so Faith Hill is now fricking Tim McGraws brother and they have a son?

I guess Tim died at the end of 1883 then when Faith was screaming and crying.
