Saw them all. I do see a error in the article. They said the Godfather was a trilogy. lol

I would suggest watching it with someone else who appreciates good films. It's nice to be able to discuss it a bit.

Not sure I'd agree with you. On their list 7/10 are favorites of mine. On your two list combined 5/10.

Taste in movies is subjective though.

Citizen Kane may have been ahead of it's time but that doesn't make it a great film. It's mediocre and it was a struggle to make it through the whole movie.

Citizen Kane makes sense.
But Goodfellas? It's on all the time.

The author should have been more honest in his point - these are just movies with classic scenes of which most people are aware, whether or not they've seen the movie.

If a guy says he's never seen Dirty Dancing, it translates to he was a virgin all the way through high school. Probably why it is on the list.
