PG - Magic $5
SG - Jordan $5
SF - Durant $2
PF - Dirk $2
C - Hakeem $1

ETA: I think MJ and Magic are the two best players ever, so couldn't pass either of them up. I think there's a bigger gap between those two and the players ranked behind them.

Hard to pass up Durant at $2 as he's one of the biggest mismatches on the list. He'd be the best scorer/shooter on the team and has great length at 6'9.

Dirk is the softest PF defensively, but he stretches the floor and gives my team two elite perimeter shooters.

Hakeem is just ridiculous value at $1. Center is easily the most even position.

This is germans, floats around every year around this time but always fun to use the same answer because Shaq is always way under priced and so is Stockton. Shaq was the most dominant player in NBA History, and Stockton had the most assists ever in NBA history....MJ = GOAT, on his way to be in that same breath as MJ as GOAT....Garnett is a cheap $1 fill in with that being all the money left to spend, but wow what a fill in ... KD shouldn't be in on the list and I don't know if LeBron should be valued at $5 with him being in the prime of his career and plenty left to go...

PG - John Stockton ($2.00)
SG - Michael Jordan ($5.00)
SF - LeBron James ($5.00)
PF - Kevin Garnett ($1.00)
C - Shaquille O'Neal ($2.00)

I think Shaq is the most dominant big of all time, but the guys ahead of him have some ridiculous resumes.

Kareem - 25/11/4 career average, NBA's all-time scoring leader, 6x MVP, 2x Final MVP, 6x champion

Russell - 15/23/4 career average, 5x MVP, 11x champion

Chamberlain - 30/23/4 career average, 2x champion, 4x MVP

Hakeem at one dollar is probably the bed value on the board there. KG is also a big steal at a dollar.

The PF/C lists just make this pretty boring. Too much value at the bottom of those lists. It leads to everyone buying MJ+LBJ (or more rarely MJ+Magic) and then dumping the rest of the money in PG.

PG - Lebron James ($5)
SG - Michael Jordan ($5)
SF - Scottie Pippen ($1)
PF - Anthony Davis ($1) - Assuming I would have to pay a $1 for someone not on the list
C - Shaquille O'Neal ($2)

Stockton 2
Jordan 5
Pippen 1
Duncan 3
Wilt 3

Adds to 14
Would consider upgrading Duncan to Barkley.
Would consider dropping down to Hakeem to get bird, Lebron, or magic.

Second team
Magic 5
Clyde 2
Bird 4
Dirk 2
Shaq 2

Combined for 24 championships. Great defense, offense. Great size and speed.

That was easy.
