I really wanted Shaq, but I think this is easily the best team.

The more that I think about match-ups and spacing, I like Nowitski at the 4 because he can stretch the defense with his shooting, but then you have to sacrifice Shaq.
I think the no brainers are Stockton for a incredible value, Jordan and James becuase they are 1a and 1b.
But you have to sacrifice Shaq for Hakeem which isn't a MAJOR issue.
That would be a fun team to watch.

I get the best PG, SF and PF of all time, all of which have great offensive games but are incredibly unselfish.
Prime Wade was a 28/7/5 kind of guy with great defensive instincts (steals, shot blocking). There's not a huge difference between him and the other SGs outside of MJ.
I really wanted to snag Shaq as the most dominant player and considered flipping Lebron for Bird, but Hakeem at $1 is ridiculous value.

I think the consensus is that Jordan and James are must haves.
Most people seem to agree that Stockton is the best value at $2 to let you get either Dirk/Hakeem or Shaq/Garnett.

its because everybody is spending their money on the SG and SF position and taking stockton by default.

Stockton is a PG.
ETA: Edit to also add that I STARTED with Stockton because he has such insane value.
You can also start with Shaq because he has very similar value.

then rolling out stockton is only the steals leader...by a long margin
the only real issue with that team is only 1 elite 3 point shooter, but lebron is decent and lebron/garnett/hakeem are amazing passers (and again, stockton)

I disagree. There is no way I'm taking LBJ in this scenario, when I can have potentially the best perimeter defender all time for $1
As I posted in the other thread about to be deleted I changed my mind on this:
Big O
Jordan
Shaq
Timmy
Pippen
That gives me the flexibility to play any of 1-3 on any other teams 2-3 in case fouls count in this hypothetical
