He would also be the first non All-Star caliber player to win it in at least the last 20 years

I can't think of a non All-Star caliber player since the 80s to win a Finals MVP.

I think Wade wins MVP if they pull this out and he continues his good play, not Lebron like people are sayin on here. They won Game 4 because of Wade. Lebron scored 9 garbage points at the end of that game to outscore him. But Wade has been more effective than Lebron up to this point. Lebron has been scared or whatever to take control of these games like he did with Indiana. shite, there is no difference between Leonard and Paul George. If you can dominate George you can do that to Leonard also.

lol

He's averaging 18 points and 4 rebounds a game...not exactly superstar numbers. I won't look at Duncan/Parker but I'd assume their stats are better

Right. But how efficient are his points?

He is shooting crazy from 3 point range

If he shoots as well as Ray Allen's career 3 pt % they probably drop a couple games

Eh. LeBron has pissed me off.
But Wade wasnt even on the floor in game 2 when the Heat won. And he disappeared in the 2nd half of game 1.

If the Heat win win the Championship, LeBron is going to be MVP because for them to win..that means he wasnt playing like a bitch.

ALso...

Wade is avg 20/5/3
LeBron...22/11/7

While Wade has played better. He was a no show the first 3 games.

Crazy thing is Ray Allen is shooting a similar 3 point % as Green this finals. Just not as many shot attempts.

Was Chauncey Billups an all star the year he won finals MVP for the Pistons?

He and Parker are the only non HOFers who have won since 85 I can say that for sure.

Billups, even if he wasn't an all-star, was all-star caliber for a 5-8 year window I'd say

But he is. my analysis on Wade is based on him continuing his play from the last two games up to the final two in Miami, and of course the Heat winning. Don't know how people can say Lebron when he has been tentative most of the series. He can drive to the basket anytime he wants, but refuses in place of passing waay too much. If he can go to the rim and attack Paul George and Hibbert he damn sure can do it with Leonard, Danny Green guarding him. But now all of a sudden he can't do this.

The guy is too big to be contained. Like a runaway freight train. When he makes up his mind to go to the hole no one can stop him. But it's not his nature for some reason. He lacks that killer instinct that Jordan had.
