Gus Johnson. Works for Fox, think he does Big10 and NFL games. His over the top fake excitement voice is absolutely atrocious. Only announcer in all sports that irrationally pisses me off. I’d take Beth over him any time.

I don't think Joe Buck is bad per se, but Disney paying him and Troy an exorbitant amount of money isn't going to sway me to watch MNF. He has zero emotion in his calls, the anti-Gus Johnson. Some of ESPN's college football B-teams are tough on the ears as well. Especially remote broadcasters. But I agree with OP, women announcers with deep voices is just grating on my ears.

Two immediately come to mind.
Mauro Ranallo who announces fights with Al Bernstein---just over the top style that sounds like he's yelling instead of speaking.
Bruce Buffer who announces the fighters in MMA/UFC events. He's so full of himself it hurts to look at him with his antics in the octagon. He's loud, obnoxious and looks ridiculous the way he swings his body toward the fighters as he calls out their names.
And Beth Mowens. I can just hear the dyke in her voice.

Depends on your category and there are so many bad announcers, it’s hard to pick one.
Gus Johnson and Joe Tessitore are 1-2 in play by play in the awful category.
For analysts, it’s hysterical Fox said no to raising Troy Aikman’s salary to Tony Romo level, then basically gave double that amount to Tom Brady. Aikman is terrible. I also can’t stand Cris Collinsworth.

Recency bias, but who was the announcer for the USM Regional, was it Nick Belmonte?
He had the same 5 facts for each team and the same dumb takes in every game. He would repeat each over and over multiple times every game. Made it very painful when seeing the same teams (especially USM) multiple times in a weekend.

I really liked Bruce about 5ish years ago, but I feel like he's kinda become a cartoon version of what he was. A little over the top now. But still gets me hyped for a big fight and he seems to love what he does.

Nick Belmonte was the color guy? He was ok, the PBP guy was worse with the single fact cards. Nick's voice and cadence sounded EXACTLY like Ron Swoboda calling the Zephyrs. It was uncanny, and I had to listen closely to differentiate.

Thanks for the correction, so it was the guy that got the job because his dad is good at his job. Sam Ravech would have been the PBP guy. I am pretty certain that regional was the first time I heard either one call a game.
