You've seen Rampage slam people as big as he is when they get him in an armbar. You don't think 300 pound monsters could overpower a 135 pound woman if she tried to get them in an armbar?

Being able to slam a guy(much less Ricardo Arona) with a triangle choke locked is not some natural thing Rampage just did on the spot, that is something he did after 20 some fights and years of training

I don't think you realize that it takes a certain amount of strength to land an armbar and even get the position.

And you can't just "trip" someone. You have to be in a certain position to even attempt to land a trip takedown. Somebody that big and strong relative to you is going to overpower you so badly that you couldn't do anything to get them down, no matter how good your technique is.

They will put themselves in the position. Have you ever watched a street fight? 99% of people either throw windmill punches or put there head down and try and grab you.

what makes you think clumsy arse Shaq would be able to lay a hand on Joe Lauzon?

Also as I have said it a hundred times already once she got a hold of you the throw/trip to arm bar is so fast and efficient you wouldn't even react fast enough to "overpower" her

Ronda Rousey is probably no taller than the girl in the picture below. How in the world is she going to hip-toss that behemoth?

He's too big for her to even get proper position and leverage. Her technique wouldn't work on someone his size. If he's resisting, he could overpower her at every turn.

i doubt you've ever sparred in a judo match in your life

this is patently false

judo technique makes leverage easier but it still requires strength and a vastly stronger opponent can resist that leverage

just like with an arm bar. a vastly stronger opponent can simply flex a weaker opponent out of one. this happens in MMA matches

let's go with a simpler answer with an athlete we've all seen

JJ Watt would not "fall over his own feet"

She is glacially slow in comparison to any athletic man. But we'll let him maintain his delusions.

He lives in the same world as the Bruce Lee fanboys.

oh i still think rousey could win against FM. maybe not the majority of the time but 35/100? probably

but i also think that JJ Watt would destroy FM 100/100
