It's that damn Title IX again, forcing broadcasters to allocate ratings equally to women, and closing down viewership for real sports, amirite?

More people watched the men's college world series than the women's world series, but the 3 game championship round the women averaged 1,850,000, while the men only averaged 1,410,333.

That's Jennie Finch but there were a lot of similar hotties this year. That kept my attention.

Women's softball didn't have that stupid whistling Vandy idiot fan making the broadcasts almost unbearable.

Probably the same reason I watched some women's beach volleyball for its entirety over the weekend. Changed the channel once the men started playing. #lovewins

I blame that POS whistler from Vanderbilt.

He did the unthinkable and trumped the girls chanting in the softball dugouts.

I wholeheartedly agree. At least as something that can elevate into mild consciousness.

It's a nearly unbearable tourney now.

Even though a 3 game series makes sense, it's also drawn away from the sport. A one game final is easy to understand and watch. Anything can happen.

but this stadium that would be too big for big leaguers and with dead bats and balls is total garbage. You never have the feeling that something is about to explode or anything can happen. It's just college coaches over managing and hitters taking shitty at bats.

Also, the college strike zone needs to shrink CONSIDERABLY
