The Rockets have to try and gaurd The Brow and Boogie with Capela, Ryan Anderson, Nene, Harrell, and Sam Dekker. Gonna be a real interesting matchup tonight. However, even with Cousins I still think the Rockets win this game comfortably.

I'd like to think we win this one, but it'll probably take a little bit of time for them to mesh and figure out how to play with one another. Houston is too good to beat with just their talent alone. Hope I'm wrong, tho.

There's another thread on this.

Probably not. Don't care.

Houston really struggles vs good bigs look at what Memphis does to them. The Rockets one weakness is the paint, capela and Anderson vs boogie and Davis scares me as a Rockets fan

No. Fully expect a loss, there's a learning curve how to play together.

If my team had just made the blockbuster trade, we'd lose. But since it's my team playing the team that made the blockbuster trade, I say Pels win.

Also, my company is having an event tonight that is basically a game watching party, so I'm absolutely certain the Rockets lose.

Rockets biggest weakness is interior defense. I wouldn't be shocked at all if boogie and Davis go off tonight.

Pels probably lose. But it'll be closer than people think. Rox have played .500 ball recently and so have the Pels. Rox will also be without Lou Williams and KJ McDaniels. Conversely Pels being thin at guard will be their undoing IMO.

I will be crazy if either teams guards get into foul trouble.

I know others can play guard but it looks like Houston with have 4 guards tonight to our 3

Yeah we have four but it's Hollis Thompson. If he sees significant minutes we are fricked

Cousins and Davis get the Rockets in foul trouble early and own the boards. Houston's 3PT shooting isn't enough to overcome the Pelicans on Cousins debut night.

Houston is bad in rim protection. It could happen but we have four guards tonight and one of them is Hollis freaking Thompson.

I'm trying to think what bigs the rockets have besides Capela.

Probably depends on the 3 ball. If Pels hold rockets under 35-40% from range, they win. If not, they will probably lose.

If you gonna have an Astros decal next to your name shouldn't you be a CC fan. And not a pellies fan??
