Will Ole Miss be under pressure to rebrand this fall?

I can't help but think that with all of the craziness of SJW's trying to purge all things confederate, that Ole Miss will come under fire to drop the rebels as a team mascot (and possibly rebrand all together).
Will the nonsense continue until football season when they become more high profile again?

No. We've changed a bunch but if they got rid of either ole miss or the nickname Rebels then it would be a madhouse.

They can just say their team is named after the rebels fighting the red coats during the Revolution and not change anything.

Everything about Ole Miss is racist. The term Ole Miss came from a term the slaves used to addresses the wives of the plantation owners. Colonel Reb was the caricature of a plantation owner. They are associated with the confederate flag more than any other school. The nickname Rebels was only chosen because it was easier to say than the other nickname of choice, Ole Massas.
