Navy, Temple, Pitt potentially Stanford - could be 4 top 25 wins

I have no problem with them in the top 4. However I think they lose to Stanford.....

For some reason, the game you were most confident about was Georgia over Georgia Southern.

Can't get em all "right" I guess.

USC Winning this week helps ND, but the outcome of the CCG would become a little less relevant as they would have beaten the PAC 12 champ either way.
Which is better? beating 10-3 and 8-5 or two 9-4s? Arguments can be made for both, but USC could be out of the top 25 at 8-5 which is something they look at.....but Stanford would be in or very close to the top 10 at 10-3, which would be huge.

This is actually interesting, and I'm not sure which would be better. The funny thing is, a similar scenario could play out with Navy vs. Temple in the AAC Championship Game. Which would the committee value more: one win over a top-10ish team or two over top-25 teams? If Stanford beats USC, it could finish top-10 but that probably knocks USC out of the top 25. Same with Navy if it beats Temple. Not sure if it'd be better for ND to say it has a win over the No. 9 team and a win over the No. 10 team and no other top-25 wins, or four wins over teams ranked No. 17-20, but no wins against any team that's even in the top 15. Maybe it'd be best for one of Stanford or Navy to win in that situation and the other to lose?

Clemson is undefeated with a win over ND. ND is a 1-loss team who's best win is Navy. There is a difference.

Iowa is also a 1-loss team that beat the doors off NW and beat Wisconsin, two ranked teams (although Wisconsin probably falls out)

unc played better against common opponents than nd. if unc beats clemson, they deserve a spot more than nd. in other words, neither one of them should go.

So no love for Oklahoma then. Figures when one team beat the shite outta Texas and the other got steamrolled for a half.

UNC has played a dog-crap schedule. Lost to South Carolina. Beat UNC A&T and Illinois out of conference. They haven't beaten or played a ranked team yet.

They have not played a single ranked team yet this year. Not one. And they won't until they get to the ACC CG.

They also played two FCS opponents and lost to a terrible South Carolina team out of conference.

There's a good reason they're way the hell down in the rankings for a 1 loss Power 5 team, and they aren't moving up much (if at all) this week, either. They have no shot.

We're without at least 6 lineman including Bryan, Cali,Bullard, Sherit and Ivie on the dline. With Dillard and Sharpe and Ivey on the Oline question marks. There is a good chance UF isn't ranked this Sunday. If The injuries are true and Treon is trash.
