I think he meant in terms of who was the favorite going in.

Can you quantify what a "super team" is?

It's not like MJ played with a bunch of scrubs.

6-0 in the finals, with six finals MVPs vs. 3-5 in the finals with two of the wins on a super team. Not to mention he'd be 2-6 if it weren't for Ray Allen.

My favorite logic ever.

Allen scored 9 points in game 6

Pippen averaged 19.01 pts/game in the 6 title years for the bulls.

So watch this, without Pippen, MJ is 0/6

He'd be 1-6 if it weren't for Ray Allen, and if Draymond didn't get suspended.

MJ would be 0-6 if Pippens father didnt frick his mother

ETA: Seriously, MJ fans need to get a grip. LeBron scares the frick out of them They are quantifying close titles now like they dont count

I've always wondered why it was Jordan vs LeBron when in reality it should be LeBron vs Magic.

A few thoughts

1 - Ray Allen's miracle three was at the end of Game 7 when the Spurs were on the verge of winning. There was no next game. The comparison to Steve Kerr's open and planned shot in Game 6 is not the same.

2 - Lebron is overly sensitive, like a teenage girl. He seems to thrive on people feeling sorry for him, rather than having the commanding presence of being "the man" like MJ. When he gets fouled hard he seems to go down grimacing in pain like he'd been shot. See the dunk attempt at the end of Game 7 in 2016, for example.

By the way, whatever happened to the racist spray paint on his house the night before Game 1? That got swept under the rug quicker than anything. I've never heard a thing about it since halftime of Game 1.

Why is LeBron vs. Jordan even a debate?

Because based all of the actual data, they're very similar in totality.

That's the easy answer, and if you look at the data, it's really not debateable to say they are very similar in production/efficiency.

6-0 in the finals
Organizations win championships, not just Michael Jordan.

Lebron is a better basketball player than Jordan was. Anyone who says otherwise is just plain biased. Jordan is more of a competitor and winner. Lebron is far bigger, stronger, and faster.

Lebron has never played with anyone close to Pippen's quality. Wade was not remotely close to Pippen when Lebron was in Miami.

same old ignorant comment. Do you need a reminder of how many times Jordan relied on a teammate for a game winner in the Finals? More times than Lebron.

Ray Allen's shot was game 6, and Lebron went on to have an epic game 7 performance with something like 38 points and the shot to put the game away with less than 20 seconds left. Ho Hum.

But LeBron never had a HOF coach or consistant great organization like MJ did so MJ people will always say 6>3 or whatever.

And who's fault is that? Lebron has always thought he was bigger than his role as a player, and tried to manipulate his surroundings. This is probably the main reason so many have turned on him.

False. Leading your team to victory when it matters the most is more important than any other game.

Jordan had to beat real teams to make it to the finals. James has had the luxury of playing in the east conference which is complete garbage. The fact that James makes it to the finals is not much of an accomplishment when you look at the weak conference competition. Two years ago when James won the championship his team was at best the fourth best team in the league that year and they would have lost early in the western conference playoffs if they were in the west.

Huh?

You think losing in the Finals is worse than losing earlier in the playoffs? You're essentially saying it's better to lose in the first round than to make it to the Finals and lose. That's some silly shite.

Yeah jackass, if you haven't noticed, lots of folks don't like Lebron. Half of your 50k+ posts are likely from defending his honor, so not sure what you are confused about

What is the bigger game?? Do you want your best player to play great during the first round win and disappear in the finals on a lost? Playing great and winning when it matters the most is by far more important. Anything else is just a participation trophy type thinking.

Which game bothers LSU fans the most 21-0 lost to Bama or losing to Penn State in a minor bowl game. Of course the 21-0 lost does.
