Draymond is incredibly hateable and Durant joined a 73 win team to cake walk to a title.

Not a GS fan but I love watching them play. I think I'd like LeBron more if people would stop trying to shove his goat status down all of our throats.

Draymond is a bitch and Curry antics are annoying. Pointing the the sky down 15 after a 3, the stupid mouth guard and things like yesterday laying on the court with a towel over his face during the game for like 5 min, then subbing right back in

Greatness is hated on in sports.

Sure, but the Warriors also seem to whine a lot, which doesn't help endear them.

No one cares to hear Draymond call another player dirty, Kerr rant about Trump or KD pout because a TV segment hurt Javale McGee's feelings.

Notice how Klay is generally well-liked, but he also quietly goes about his business compared to his teammates.

Well it's not like he's riding any coat tails. He's arguably been the best player on the floor for any GS game these playoffs. He saw an opportunity to play with a team that wins championships, and he took it. Not sure why that's frowned upon all the time. Message boards and journalist argue "legacy" more than the actual players do.

I know I gave LBJ a lot of grief for going to Miami (mainly for the way he did it), but go play with 2 superstars in Miami, who passes that up? And he came back home and won a title for his home team. Really nothing any sane person should be able to bash about his career choices at all.

Holy shite, watch LeBron when he doesn't get a call. Or better yet, watch all of San Antonio.

Everyone is a cry baby if their not on your team.

5 big reasons in increasing order a value towards hatred:

5) They are a dominant team

4) They are a bunch of arrogant, whiny pricks

3) Their fans are insufferable (same can be said for Cleveland fans though along with many others).

2) Draymond Green is a POS although a great player

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
1) Durant is a great player, but the epitome of a weak minded guy.

People complained about LeBron forming that trio with the heat, but that wasn't a team that was championship level before he got there.

People try to use Barkley as a comparison, but Barkley went to the Rockets on his last legs not in his prime. Same can be said for Malone and Payton with LAL in 2004.

Pierce, Garnett and Allen was the same as Lebron. They went to a mediocre team together.

Reality is that everything people tried to blame LeBron for doing, Durant did 10,000x worse and thus the hate for GSW.

Only reason I hate them is because of the number of 3s they throw up. Then every other team tries it and we get 50+ 3pt attempts a game. Guess that's just basketball evolving though.

- They're too good
- The 2nd best player in the league went there when they were already historically great
- Draymond is loud and obnoxious
- Curry and Klay both look and act like cucks

Or was this some stupid, rhetorical question?

Exactly, and look how this board alone blows up about those things.

Fans always get irked by pro athletes complaining and Golden State has offered plenty of fodder to those who want to hate them.

Never really liked GSW at all but I'm def pulling for them this season after what I saw outta CLE not being truthful about the circumstances of how they won last season. Would really like to see a sweep.

Was GS every truthful about the circumstances the season before?

Not sure I saw them say anything about winning due to big CLE injuries, fill me in.

I kinda remember Draymond saying "Cleveland sucks" which doesn't seem too truthful IMO. What say you?

GSW has been the clear better team all 3 seasons. Only one year did the better team not win and CLE reluctance to admit that they got lucky w injuries and that GSW was better makes me lose respect and see them wanna be swept this year.

7-6 in the 1st 2 Finals, nothing clear about that.

Yes, you want CLE to admit they got lucky, sounds super realistic!!!

But GS doesn't have to admit their luck for year 1.

Boom-ism of the day!!!

Pretty clear CLE best chance to beat GSW is to slow it down and muck it up like they did two years ago. Irving and love ain't the guys for that kinda game. No chance they beat GSW two years ago with Irving and love. Just like theybhave no chance this year.

So LeBron and crew should have come out and in interviews said, "We got lucky to win this title"

Gotcha. Boom-ism...

Boom logic...

Cleveland was on the verge of a 3-1 series lead and competitive with LBJ and a D-League team, so LBJ+Delly>LBJ+UncleDrwe+KLove.

Makes perfect sense. I do agree with you that Cleveland needs to muck it up, but to say that Cleveland was better with only one true scoring threat vs three over a seven game series is laughable.
