Yet 8 teams managed to have winning records, not including UCONN. And four of them managed to get seeded 1 through 4 in addition to UCONN.

Louisville, WVU, Pitt, Cuse, UConn and I think St. Johns were all 5 seeds or better that year. Duke in 2010 was better than all those teams so to say they would be a 5 or lower is stupid.

I said Duke was one of the worst national champions, but they were still the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

To say they would have been a 5 seed is crazy.

Zoubek (sp) was the most important piece of their team that year to me, which kills me to say that with all of the bullshite charges he would take.

Baylor beats Duke in the Elite 8, though, if not for the single worst block/charge call in the history of basketball, which would have fouled Zoubek out with 3 minutes to play.

Happy that charges aren't called the same way anymore.

Ok so I am curious what do you think Duke's record would of been against Uconn's schedule?

Very similar to what Pitt or ND did. If they can win 14 or 15 games in the conference, that certainly doesn't seem like an impossible task for a national champion.

No way.

@Pitt
@Texas
@ND
@St Johns
@Louisvile
@Marquette
@Cincy
@WVU

They go at best 3-5 in those road games.
They probable don't beat Kentucky in the Maui Invitational.
They are going to drop a couple of home games as well.
They don't beat Pitt in the Big East Tourney.

Just so we are on the same page, we are talking about 2010 Duke, the NT team?

Pitt went 27-4 and Notre Dame went 25-5 that year and Duke in 2010 was better than both of them. I hate Duke and the ACC but it is the truth

Pitt and ND didn't have as tough a schedule as UConn

Considering they beat St. John's by 10 at home and murdered West Virginia in the Final Four, I'd say saying the best they could go is 3-5 is ludicrous.

Notre Dame wasn't that good.

That was the year before and none of those games were on the road.

Yeah, you are correct.

But still, Duke as a 5 seed is crazy.

2010 Duke beat 2010 Uconn in an actual game, and 2010 Uconn was virtually the same team as 2011 Uconn, so once again you are an idiot.

Yeah except for Jeremy Lamb, Roscoe Smith, Tyler Olander and Shabazz Napier. 3 starters and the 6th man who weren't on the team

Yup virtually same
