Is Bryce Harper known for theft, cheating, and soliciting pay to play amateur sports? I don't know anything about the guy, but that might be the answer.

Nah, you're skipping the fact that he was tossed while at the end of the dugout. That is "look at me" kind of shite from the ump. Most people thought his comment was warranted given the bullshite pulled by the ump.

Yeah I was actually indifferent at worst and a Cam fan at best before the Super Bowl, but that bullshite during the game and then the "interview" after completely turned me off. If you're going to want the spotlight on you at all times, which is obviously your wish considering your antics, then you should deal with the consequences.
We don't have any concrete evidence that Harper would handle it better, but it seems highly unlikely he would pull such a bitch move. Until then, he gets the benefit of the doubt.

The entire dugout went nuts on the call and somehow the ump specifically heard Harper from the dugout? And whatever was said was bad enough to toss him? GTFO with that shite.

I think it's part of it for some people. I don't mind it though. I love shite talkers. It adds another level of excitement to the game. But you can't pout like a bitch when it doesn't go your way.

It does make it more fun to have a villain. Kind of why I root against LBJ every summer.
