Why Bud Selig sucks so bad...A look back

He tested positive during survey testing in 2003.
Caught once coming off a juice cycle again in 2009. Then the POS does it AGAIN, and when both samples test positive he decides to retire and end his appeal. He decides later he wants to end his short retirement stint.
And Bud Selig and the association agree to reduce his suspension? How incompetent can Bud Selig really be? His handling of the steroid era was bad, granted it was a shitty hand to be dealt. But even in the era now, he is weak.
Piece of shite Ramirez should have been kicked out the league permanently.
Ryan Braun juicing and lies...oh well only a 50 day vacation.
He gives Goodell a run for his money.

David Ortiz should have been banned 50 games too.
But Selig's worst move IMO is still interleague play.
Also I am a DH hater but honestly there is no way the players union will ever agree to get rid of the DH. As long as the NL still has it I am OK.

The DH is stupid (play the field, you should also hit), but not even close to the absurdity of the Manny Ramirez deal. It is pretty pathetic.

Then got nailed weeks later

I don't understand the hatred for interleague play, outside of the whole DH thing. Every other professional league has interleague games.

When Selig was an owner he was instrumental in the collusion by owners to reduce the value of free agency to the players. As a reward the other owners put him in the position supposed to look out for the best interests of baseball. As Commissioner Selig's job has been to look out for the best interests of the owners, and he has preformed well in that role.
Eliminating performance enhancing drugs from baseball would have impaired the value of the owners' investments. Selig couldn't allow that to happen. So baseball has this farcical substance abuse environment that tries to limit the damage while not preventing abuse.

The DH rule is a terrible one,
I mean you have two leagues of teams playing two types of the same sport. Doesn't make sense at all

I kinda like interleague play. Maybe they do a little too much of it though.

Should've gone back to make it where it happens 3-4 times a year. There is an interleague game every day now. And Selig essentially forcing Houston to go to the AL.... if he was so for it, make Milwaukee go back like they used to be. Put MIL in the AL Central and move KC to the AL West. Fifty years of history in the NL put aside.

When he made the deal to move the Astros to the AL so the sale to the new owner would go thru, will always be a thorn in my side. Instead of Colorado or Arizona moving to the AL West, which would obviously be more prudent, he moves Houston. I'd bitch slap him if I ever meet him on the street.

Instead of moving multiple teams around, they only moved one. The NL central had 6 teams and the AL west had 4. Now they all have 5...and considering the rangers are in that division, I don't see the inconvenience.

Houstons been in the NL longer than the Rockies and Diamondbacks combined. Selig has never liked the Stros, and Milwaukie should have never been aloud in the NL to begin with.

Don't forget our "home" game after Ike was strangely moved to Milwaukee to play the Cubs.

The DH is a good rule.
Unless you want to watch pitchers bat. People that tout the NL rules with no DH always claim that is uses more strategy, but they couldnt be farther from the reality. Nothing screams strategy like walking the 8 hole hitter to get to the pitcher's spot with a runner on 3rd and 2 outs in the 9th. Could they make it any more anti-climatic?
