It has to be Bryce Harper, right? I think he would be the only baseball player with name recognition among non-baseball fans. Or it could be Matt Kemp due to his association with Rihanna. Mike Trout and Clayton Kershaw are the best players in the game but I don't think non-baseball fans know who they are.

Bryce Harper because of his SI cover in HS and upcoming free agency

I believe it's Harper.

I've seen a lot of youth reference him.

I was gonna go with Trout, and that's coming from a dude that hasn't actually watched an mlb game in ages.

It's Bryce Harper because I actively avoid all things MLB and I know who he is and hear him referenced the most often: lol:

Beltran,

Not even close to the most famous. Tons of girls know who Ichiro is; probably 1% know Beltran.

Baseball is about to go into a huge crisis at a bad time. It's already only barely more popular than hockey.

never said he was the most famous. he'll be one of the most famous next to retire. and if we're being honest, very few girls know who any baseball players are

Baseball is about to go nuclear with the Cubs poised to be a World Series contender. If they make it to the WS it will be the hugest thing in sports for a very long time.

Oh, Anthony Rizzo & Kris Bryant will be household names if they aren't already.
