Those players have made both of the teams they went to worse.

Rondo admitted he didn't even try on defense.

Green jacks up and misses a bunch of shots and his Per Hovers around 14.

Yep, Atlanta did have 4 All Stars. Still giving the Coach of the Year to Bud. He made them all stars.

Bud would be my pick. Kerr is close.

HOMER ALERT: If Harden isn't the MVP though, then McHale should win it. Because the Rockets have a ridiculous record considering the time Dwight has missed, and SOMEONE has to be given credit for that.

Atlanta would have had two all stars in the East maybe. Both Kerr and Bud are outstanding coaches, but the spacing Bud has brought to the Hawks has been so freaking good this year.

What is your problem with the hawks? Every time I see you post in anything that includes them you are just a douche. I respect your opinion, but you are so uneducated about the NBA if you don't think Bud should get a vote. Leading a 38-44 team to possibly the best record in the NBA compared to a team that went 51-31 to the best record is an enormous difference. Since you post all the time, maybe way too much, you should watch or research the things you put your blind and unknowledgable opinion to.

well, Milsap and Horford have made all star teams before. Teague could have made it the last 2 years. And Korver is playing like he always has, tho with a slight uptick in shooting %'s. He has them playing well, but i dont think he made these guys all stars

So he's playing better, that's the definition.

I wish Bud would make Horford an All Star tonight. 1/12? sheesh.

oh, I got Bud slightly over Kerr. #NoHomer

Do you really think that Jeff Teague is better than Steph Curry?
Or that kyle korver is better than Klay Thompson ?

a few weeks ago y'all were telling me how last year was a fluke because of injuries, and how they were so much better the year before. Make up your damn minds.

Kerr has the Warriors playing too good. Let's not even start to compare the west vs the east. He already has them +2 in wins from last year. They are currently beating the Hawks by 13 in the 3Q. If they finish the season with 60+ wins in this grueling conference, he'll win hands down.

his PER is up .7 from his previous career high in 06-07. However you want to define it.

At this rate his only career high will be FG%, and he's a bad shooting night away from that slipping.

I get what you are saying Lester...

But at the same time, this is the exact same starting 5 for Atlanta that went 38-44 last year. And yea Horford only played 29games, but still.

They've already won 53 games this year and have a 79.1% winning % on the season, which is the best in Hawks history by 10%. Gonna set a franchise record in both wins and win %.

He's done the best coaching job this season IMO. The Hawks were a 60-1 favorite to win the NBA Championship in the preseason. Now they are 6-1.

the East is much worse this season. They'll have 2 teams make the playoffs with losing records. And maybe a 3rd. They've played well against the West too, but they crappy east inflates their record big time. There are 6 or 7 auto wins in the east on a given night. The middle to bottom of that conference in the worsts its ever been

I'm not saying those guys aren't good players, and Kerr isn't a great coach, I just think Bud has done a better job. Mark Jackson was one of the worst coaches in the NBA but got a pass because he's friendly with the media. I also have no issue with you saying Kerr is the Coach of the year, but to say no one else is deserving of votes is pretty ignorant.

c'mon Les. he might win it, but hands down? the Hawks are the surprise team that's gonna win 60+ and be the #1 seed in their conference, and at worst the 2nd best record in the league. and all with the "no superstar"/ MVP candidate player label.
