Joe Thomas has 5 first-time all-pro selections.
Yup, and he would actually be my pick, but he's not vastly superior to Whitworth, or Tyron Johnson, or Jason Peters, or Marshall Yanda, or Evan Mathis.....

I don't watch enough tape to say who is better and by how much. I am strictly going off first-team all-pro selections.

Phillip Rivers.
I think Joe Thomas will catch on with a contender late in his career, like a lot of legendary older players.
Phillip Rivers is quickly losing the talent level necessary to win a SB, and the QB has to be the main cog unless you have an insane defense.

If J.J. Watt and Joe Thomas stay on Houston and Cleveland, respectively, I can't see either of them winning a Super Bowl.
Adrian Peterson's window is closing, but Minnesota is getting closer. I have doubts that the latter comes first, but give Minnesota credit for building a strong defense through the draft. If they can nab a receiver at No. 23 in the 2016 Draft, next season might be their only shot to win a Super Bowl with Peterson.

Philip Rivers is getting up there in age, but he was having a dynamite season through the air until Keenan Allen went down.
ETA: still don't think he'll win a Super Bowl.

Right now it's Peterson. He's a HOF RB in an era in which teams have shifted away from the feature back.
When his career is over, it'll probably be JJ Watt, just in terms of players on the league right now.

You're really upset about this.

Well, Adrian Peterson is going to go down as one of the 5 best RBs of all-time.
I'll go with him. JJ Watt is a close 2nd.

Romo, easy
Watt will hitch onto a winning franchise at the end of his career and get a ring like White did.

There's a good chance he plays 2, maybe even 3, more years IMO. He's going to be top 5 in almost every major category if he does.

Adrian Peterson for me.
He's already one of the best RBs ever and with good health & a couple more good seasons he'll be top 5 in most stats

Most definitely Watt, unless he gets traded at some point.
