Basketball shouldn't be played when it's 95 degrees outside so yes I am but then again I don't watch or keep up with it so who am I to say?

Baseball shouldn't be played in cold weather...but it starts and ends in it.

It's gonna be baseball-only for 1.5 months and then the Olympics arrive, followed by FOOTBALL

Yeah, NFL season is way worse for me. I live in the Baltimore/DC area and sports radio is unbearable here because all they talk about are the Ravens and Redskins even when it's not football season. I was listening to the radio in D.C. the other day and a sports radio host literally spent three hours bitching about Desean Jackson missing voluntary off-season workouts.

This. I love football as much as the next guy, but sports talk/media sucks during football season. There's not enough games to fill airtime for Tuesday through Saturday for the NFL. College helps, but theres even fewer games in a season when you consider that mainstream sports talk will only cover 35 or so teams at the absolute most over the course of the season.

Always a joy to listen to Sirius NFL radio in fricking June whenever I catch a ride with my dad.

I agree but that doesn't make basketball in June not stupid.

I played in college, I love it, but I've never been able to watch it on TV outside of LSU games. I'm not going to knock it for others, but I'd rather discuss off-season basketball or football instead of baseball.

I think it blows that it's over! Last month and a half has been all kinds of fun to watch! I miss it already!
