Idk they have some pretty nerdy gamers on ESPN now. It'd be a tough call

Locks and will get in easily

Albert Pujols
Miguel Cabrera

Should be locks but might not get in

Chase Utley

Well on their way but it's too early to say yes

Albert Pujols, Miguel Cabrera, Ichiro Suzuki are locks

Adrian Beltre should get in, Ortiz and Arod have the numbers but have baggage.

Trout, Harper, Kershaw aren't eligible but I would put money on that will be enshrined at some point.

That doesn't matter. The HOF has waived the 10 year eligibility rule before. See Addie Joss. My bigger issue is that Madison Bumgarner's JAWS score is only 293rd all-time among pitchers. He has a lot of work left. Buster Posey has a much stronger case but his JAWS score is barely higher than Victor Martinez and Yadier Molina. If he retired today, I don't see how anybody can make a strong case that he definitively had a better career than Martinez and Molina. So he needs a three or four more good seasons before I can consider him a HOFer.

That is a horrible example.
He played in 1902 and died from illness and it still took him 70 years to make it in the Hall. If Posey or Bumgarner retired at the end of the season they would not be in the Hall.

He probably isn't getting in but the HOF prediction just looks at stats instead of everything else that will keep him out
