Which team would you like to see a ‘30 for 30’ on that probably won’t get one done on them

The 2011 Philadelphia Phillies.

The previous 3 seasons they finished WS Champs, WS runner ups, and NLCS runner ups.

In 2010 they bring in Cliff Lee, 2011 Roy Halladay, and have the “4 Aces” (with Osewalt and Cole Hamels and ended up losing in the NLDS.

Then, the organization doesn’t make the playoffs for over a decade until last year.

Roy Halladay died in a plane crash back in 2017.

What a strange and crazy team, it would be interesting to see a deep dive on what went wrong and where everyone on it ended up.

Yet, because they underachieved so grossly, it has become a forgotten team by many, and it’s not likely that they’d get one done on them because of that.

Have the 2001 Sacramento kings had a documentary?

Maybe a rise of Boise state would be interesting as well (dirk koetter thru Chris Peterson years).

Maybe not an actual team, but I’d love one on December 1st, 2007 for the college football season. That was such a crazy day with the number 1 and 2 teams in the BCS losing on the same day. Honestly that whole season could have a documentary made about it

That happened on like 3 different weeks that season. Like you said, that entire season across the entire CFB landscape needs a 30 for 30. Most bonkers season ever

2015 Royals.

A franchise that has been dogshit for 30+ years. A random spurt of back to back pennants and a world series title.

Perez
Hosmer
Moustakas
Zobrist
Cueto
Cain

I'm biased but I think it would be very interesting to watch a 30 for 30 on how a terrible franchise put together 2+ such dominant seasons and then immediately returned to crap.

Great answer. I’d like something on the lead up and including 2014-15 Kansas City.
