re: Which team would you like to see a ‘30 for 30’ on that probably won’t get one done on them

1988 Dodgers...the ragtag, last clean team to win. Costas called the Dodgers lineup as the worst in World Series history.

Not a team but I want a Tim Donaghy 30 for 30 in a bad way. However, I think that would possibly destroy the NBA.

2023 LSU baseball. Quite possibly the top 2 picks in the MLB draft. A great coach and just a bunch of talent who will overcome late season pitching struggles to win it all. It would make an interesting story.

2019-2020 Dayton Flyers MBB
2019-2020 San Diego State Aztecs MBB
Two great teams that had historic seasons and poised to make a deep runs in the tournament until Covid.

Would rather the collapse of the 2022 Tennessee team. They’re much more interesting than LSU this year. Every single fan not in Orange hated that team.

Maybe not an actual team, but I’d love one on December 1st, 2007 for the college football season. That was such a crazy day with the number 1 and 2 teams in the BCS losing on the same day. Honestly that whole season could have a documentary made about it

No, thank you.

2005-2021 Tennessee football. I mean there’s a lot to work with. The downfall of Phillip Fulmer. Lane Kiffin bolting in the middle of the night after only one year. The disaster that was Derek Dooley. Butch Jones and his clown show. The infamous Schiano Sunday. The two weeks after Schiano Sunday in which the athletic director went rogue and pretty much hired Mike Leach, only to be summoned back to Knoxville and be relieved of his duties. Then Jeremy Pruitt and all of his nonsense, including significant NCAA violations.

Have they made one about the 90s Braves? That could be great

I’m sure there will be some type of documentary one day. Didn’t the America’s Game show have a few episodes about teams that should/could have won the Super Bowl?

Idk if they warrant a 30 for 30, but the Peter Warrick FSU teams are genuinely what turned me into a cfb fan. I used to remember watching those games and think they were playing a different sport they were so dominant

I’d also love a New Zealand All Blacks rugby series

1899 Sewanee Football

Wiki
quote:

With just 18 players, the team known as the "Iron Men" embarked on a ten-day, 2,500 mile train trip, where they played five games in six days. Sewanee had five shutout wins over Texas (in Austin), Texas A&M (in Houston), Tulane (in New Orleans), LSU (in Baton Rouge), and Ole Miss (in Memphis). Sportswriter Grantland Rice called the group "the most durable football team I ever saw."[2] The road trip is recalled memorably with the Biblical allusion "...and on the seventh day they rested."[3][4][b]
