At the time they played them or currently ranked? I'm assuming the latter.
Again, I'm not criticizing FSU's schedule in the sense that they didn't try to play top teams. They did.
That Notre Dame, Florida ect aren't very good this year isn't FSU's fault. However, you can't give them credit for quality wins just out of scheduling effort either.
My point was about the ACC in general when you pointed out the OOC record against P5 opponents.
The OOC record by itself looks good but a significant number of the P5 Ws are over teams like Kentucky, Kansas, South Carolina etc. The quality Ohio St and Georgia wins are the only OOC ones that jump out, from memory. I just looked and would add Boston College over USC.
Not bad by any means and it certainly means that people saying the ACC is awful are mislead. However, there's also not quite the heft there to make simply posting that the ACC was 10-6 as if it's more impressive than what the SEC West or PAC12 did OOC ring true.
I do agree with the point that FSU did avoid upsets in conference play against some teams that were capable enough on their day.

xcept for the fact that they beat TCU at home by only 3 points, while losing to an inferior team, also at home.
Baylor lost to WVU in Morgantown...
