As of the current set up, you can pretty much say that the NBA champion will come from one of three teams. Whoever LeBron plays for, the Warriors, or Spurs. I don't see that changing soon without major free agent shifts.

You'd have to pick a team that is just now beginning to put some pieces together, because the window for a newcomer to win one won't be open for at least 3 more years.

I think Minnesota is interesting given how young Wiggins and KAT are, both 21 and years away from their prime. I'd go with them.

The Pelicans can of Hield becomes a superstar and the team can get good pieces. They have their star. They made some games with the Warriors a couple years ago in the 1st rd. They have to build an antithesis team to the Warriors. They are super young but so is GS.

You might want to a take a look at who's hitting free agency this summer

It's a massive list of elite players.

Clippers are the only team of those with even a slight chance to win one in the next say 5 years.

To be clear i don't think any of these teams have a strong chance in at least the next 5-10.

Indiana has a strong front office in a basketball hungry market. They do a great job of evaluating talent in the draft and building a roster of middle market free agents that can be contributors. I can see them being a contender 10-15 years from today based on the organizational track record.

Just for the LULZ I would like to see them make the Finals, get a 3-0 lead, then lose it....

I didn't realize so many teams hadn't won it.

It's been a while since I've checked. But I think by 2008 or so the Lakers and Celtics had won roughly half of all the titles.

Its obviously outdated but it gets the point across. Before Cleveland and Golden State, their was even less parity.

You could argue parity has increased over past 10+ years though:

Golden State wins 1st time in ages
Cleveland wins 1st
Miami wins 1st time (wins twice more so possibly hurts argument)
Dallas wins 1st
Boston wins 1st in ages

If they were healthy last year they could've won it. All it takes is for them to be healthy and GSW to have a key injury. they are a team who at full strength can beat any of the other teams besides GSW.

That's not true. Lil' Jon cares when he can get visibility for caring.

They learned their lesson with Harden. Going to be a top 4 payroll team next year:
