Seems we are a day late and dollar short of starting these improvements since Cusa is now at 14 teams.

Raymond Authement and Raymond Blanco.

Various Ragin Cajun supporters with businesses/money wanted to start up an athletic booster organization as far back as the 80's. Their idea was continuously rejected by our administration.

Wasn't until about 8 years ago that the RCAF was finally established.

Brosph. I've been trying to get the back story, but why are LSU fans so against ULL referring to themselves as UL? Honest question.

Not the answer I was looking for.

ETA:
AU and UA, although bitter enemies on the field, have a fantastic business relationship. Both schools drive each other. Also, they have helped each other keep a monolopy on the states education.

I have a feeling that cincy will be in the big 12 in next 5 years. Who the AAC takes will be interesting. Since cincy is in the AAC east the AAC could grab UMASS ( ) and that would not affect the SBC or CUSA. Army might also join the AAC if scheduling gets complicted with all the P5 schools wanting more P5 schools on the schedule.

There was talk of UMass but that has dwindled as of late. Earliest expansion I see is maybe next summer.

By the time CUSA is ready to add new teams, it may be in ULL's (or whoever) best interest to seriously examine if it would be worth the move. Sun Belt has gained a lot of ground on CUSA in the last round of realignment with CUSA really only having a basketball edge which can evaporate over the next few years.

Not exactly. ULL is the life of the Sun Belt. Who the hell is going to keep that conference breathing when they leave? ULM? Lol WAC left overs? Lol

Whenever Arkansas State and ULL leave, that conference nights as we'll be FCS

perception. Who would you rather play against App state or USM, Latech or USA?

CUSA still offers more in terms of television money and national perception, even if it's based more off of history than current standings.

Why would UL-Lafayette, UL/ULL, want C-USA? The administration is shooting higher than that. Well, everyone besides Scott Farmer which I'm not even sure why he's here.

Don't worry about C-USA.
Just don't let the sunbelt expand more to the east, and spend time developing relationships with TEch, USM, Rice, UTEP, and UTSA.

there was some "internet talk" about the fun belt adding umass for football only to get it 12 for a championship game. The SBC is one team shy in the east I believe.
